Kody's interest in non-profits began three years ago when she joined the Montpelier Rotary Club. Her day to day role is a Commercial Account Executive for NFP. After working directly with many non-profits and learning the ins and outs of their operations it lead to her helping them find the insurance coverages that met their budgets. Good Beginnings was one of these non-profits. Kody spent time researching and asking questions about the organization to get a clear understanding of what Good Beginnings did. During this time, she decided to submit an application for membership. Knowing women who have experienced the challenges of a new born child and struggled, she knew this was a great organization to be a part of.
Kody lives in Barre Town with her two dogs, Pippa and Parker. She is the co-head coach for Spaulding High School's Varsity Softball team, incoming President-Elect for the Montpelier Rotary Club and third year board member, and Secretary for the Vermont Insurance Agents Association, Young Agents Committee. Kody enjoys playing slow pitch softball in the summer time, playing broomball and snowboarding in the winter, and traveling as much as she can!
