Kristen grew up west of Boston, Massachusetts. After undergrad, she lived most of her young adult life in Charleston, SC and Cape Cod, MA. Kristen was a social worker, worked in state government, and worked with abused and neglected children. She received a master in administration and a master of science from Suffolk University. Her family received news of a very aggressive cancer her mom got. She learned quickly about health and supplemental insurance. Then obtained her life & health insurance license. Kristen has been assisting people for 15 years, educating and assisting them with their insurance needs.
Kristen relocated her three sons to Vermont in 2010. Her oldest is currently serving in the USCG. Kristen also has a 15 and 13 year old... "I am very proud of my children". They are involved in cross country, hockey, track and baseball. Good Beginnings hits very close to home with Kristen. Personally, she suffered postpartum depression with her youngest child. She didn't recognize what was happening until a very dear friend brought it to her attention. Postpartum depression is not something that we openly discuss and feel ashamed we are not strong enough to handle even the basic tasks of caring for a newborn and their siblings. Kristen's friend guided her to talk with her doctor. He got her the help she needed to get back in the swing of everyday life and tasks of being a nurturing, caring and loving mom. Good Beginnings goes beyond this, it's truly a wonderful, lifesaving organization. Kristen hopes you will consider a financial donation to Good Beginnings.
