Kirk has been working in the human services field for 15 years now. Kirk spent over 10 years working for the Children’s division at Washington County Mental Health in a variety of roles, ranging from working one-on-one with students in area schools to managing the school based program. He has always found working with young people inspiring, and came to understand that the earliest years are so important in one’s life. While his work now is no longer focused on direct work with children and their families, he still believes this area of clinical work holds a great deal of promise in helping positively shift not only children’s and family’s lives, but also our community and society at large.
Kirk lives in Rutland with his wife, son, and dog Rocky. He is a big fan of outdoor activities, including skiing, biking and hiking. He and his family love to travel and also stay at home enjoying each other’s company. Kirk is excited to be part of the Good Beginnings of Central Vermont team, and believes strongly in supporting young parents as they begin the best and most important journey of their lives.
