FreeOn this day women gather at registered locations around the world to feed their babies, and offer peer support to one another. Their friends, family, and community join the celebration to promote and support breastfeeding.
The Breastfeeding Coalition of Central Vermont hosts this event at the Montpelier site in recognition of Breastfeeding Awareness month. We will gather at 10, and at 10:30 parents will latch their babies on, bottle-feed, or spoon-feed their little ones, then we will walk down State Street to the Montpelier Farmer’s Market caring a banner to celebrate Breastfeeding in our Community.
