This workshop is part of the Emerge & Blossom Pregnancy, Birth, & Beyond Event happening March 22nd – 24th & 30th.
Rooted in indigenous Mexican traditional medicine (mtm) will be a partner exploration of herbal, massage, and bodywork care for postpartum moms to teach partner how to properly care for them. We will cover herbal remedies and practices like the Bajo or vaginal steam, teas and nutrition, how to re-align crooked and open hips, herbal massage, and partner stretching to care for their recovering bodies. The postpartum period can span years, you do not need to be recently postpartum for your body to be loved on and appreciated for its work. Postpartum women’s bones remain open until they are properly closed. Bring a partner to get loved on and expect to leave feeling like a new mama.
