Storytime for Little Diverse-Thinkers
December 3, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 12:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 11:30 am on Thursday, repeating until December 31, 2020
Thursdays, December 3, 10, 17 & 31 at 11:30 AM.
What is an “anti-racist” children’s book? It’s a book that helps young readers be diverse thinkers whenever they imagine, meet and think about people. Naomi Alfini from The Children’s Room invites you to a fun and loving story time brimming with books about people of color – most especially children! This story time is a good chance for adults to discover beautiful new (and old) books that reflect diversity in the world, for you to find at your local library or add to your home collection.
For Ages 3-6 yrs.
Please email: michelle@waterburypubliclibrary.com to register and you will then be emailed a confirmation of your sign-up along with a zoom link for the date of the program.
