It Takes a Village is Good Beginnings’ annual family-friendly community event and fundraiser. Free and open to the public, the event brings families together with local organizations that offer resources, information, and hands-on, kid-friendly activities.
Designed to celebrate and support families during the perinatal period, this event fosters connection, reduces isolation, and strengthens community networks for parents and caregivers.
Hosted in partnership with the Central Vermont Perinatal mental health coalition, It Takes a Village raises critical funds to support Good Beginnings’ mission while increasing awareness of perinatal mental health, so all families can thrive in this stage of life.
